Deep, dark color with violet reflections. Delicious nose with great depth. Notes of blackcurrant, black cherry, and other ripe red fruits. Hints of violets, black pepper, tapenade, and chocolate. Beautiful and balanced wood aging adds even more charm to its already impressive character. Great wine at an interesting price! Grapes are hand-picked at night. Cold maceration on the skins. Fermentation at controlled temperature with regular pumping. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels. The wine then ages for another 24 months in a mix of various barrels that differ in age, size, and origin to retain as much elegant and mineral character as possible.
