The wine is aged in old whiskey barrels for 6 months after fermentation (for this vintage, these are bottles previously used for Jack Daniel’s). The wine has an intense dark purple color. On the nose, it has an alluring bouquet of black fruits and rich toffee, with coconut and toasted aromas resulting from the 6-month aging in old bourbon barrels. On the palate, it is impressively dense, substantial, and very velvety, with a finish that seems endless!
