The quintessence of Burgundy Chardonnay. The wine ages on the yeast lees, also in barrels, for about a year. Pale golden in color, with intense citrus notes led by yellow grapefruit, acacia flowers, and hints of peach. The whole is complemented by aromas of fresh bread crust. On the palate, a refreshing acidity, slender yet intense, with a distinct mineral accent on the finish. Excellent already now, but has the potential for further aging for several years.
