This wine is made from selected parcels of the Staphyle vineyard, from which the best grapes of this exceptional variety were chosen. The total number of bottles produced this way was 6500. Each bottle has its unique number on the label. The wine has a deep ruby red color with blue reflections. The aroma is dominated by dark forest fruits with a strong indication of blueberries, blackberries, and plums. There are also hints of herbs and spices that reveal the wine's aging for 12 months in small French barrels. On the palate, it is round and elegant, with pleasant tannins and a long juicy finish of bursting fruits. It pairs perfectly with red aged beef steaks. It also works well with game and mature hard cheeses.
