Description
Mirin-Fumi is a seasoning, sometimes called sweet sake or Japanese cooking wine, one of the main ingredients in Japanese cuisine. Its primary use is in preparing Japanese sauces in the Teriyaki style. Simply combine soy sauce and Mirin to create a sweet Teriyaki soy sauce. Mirin is also used to prepare vinegar dressing (rice vinegar), essential for making sushi rice. Additionally, it is suitable as an addition to soups, salad dressings, fish dishes, and for making marinades (in combination with rice vinegar, sake, or soy sauce). It gives dishes a sweet, distinct flavor. Mirin Marukin contains no alcohol.
