The Château du Tertre vineyard is a thousand-year-old estate, whose area of 52 hectares has remained unchanged since 1855. In the 19th century, wines from Château de Tertre gained worldwide fame, mainly due to the classification of 1855. In 1997, Dutch businessman Eric Albada Jelgersma bought the estate and invested in its restructuring, thus restoring the former glory of Château du Tertre. Les Hauts has a beautiful ruby color that captivates in the glass from the first contact. Its complex fruity aromas with hints of wood, pepper, cinnamon, and licorice, along with a sensual, refined taste, will appeal to all lovers of subtle yet characterful wines.
