On the palate, a strong fruit attack, followed by noticeable elements of structure, acidity, and gentle tannins. A good balance between fruitiness and minerality. The finish is long and elegant. The history of La Tour Carnet is intertwined with the history of France. The vineyard was named in honor of a medieval squire who helped his lord resist the French monarchy at the end of the Hundred Years' War.
