Vineyards: This is a "selection of selections," both in the vineyard and in the winery. Tempranillo comes from Los Poyatos, a 50-year-old vineyard located in Azagra at an altitude of 420 meters with clay and silt soils. Graciano comes from the poorest and highest part of Molinos, 7 hectares of land with a high composition of gypsum and clay planted at an altitude of 450 meters and is over 20 years old. Hand-picking is done in 12 kg crates, ensuring excellent condition of the bouquet in the winery. Grapes go through "selection tables" before entering the fermentation tank. Malolactic fermentation occurs in barrels and concrete tanks. The wine ages in French and American oak barrels for 18 months, after which it spends a minimum of 6 months in the bottle. Aroma: Intense and very complex, with prominent ripe black fruits, dried plums, and licorice. Spicy notes, forest floor, and mineral nuances on an elegant oak background. Taste: Balanced and well-structured with silky tannins and delicious ripe fruits. Fresh and spicy, with a strong finish. Prolonged fruity and spicy notes typical of good Graciano. Varieties: 50% Tempranillo, 40% Graciano, 10% Garnacha. Aging: 18 months in oak barrels (70% French and 30% American) New and second year.
