Miralmonte Joven is a mature red wine from the Toro DO appellation in the Castile and León region, created by the family winery Frutos Villar. In the glass, the wine has a dark ruby color with pronounced aromas of dark fruits, toast, tobacco, and a hint of vanilla. Rich flavor with well-balanced oak notes, mature tannins, hints of vanilla, leather, black cherry, and spice. This wonderful reserva features a velvety smooth, pronounced, and elegant finish. It ages for 12-20 months in oak barrels and then 12 months of bottle aging. This wine pairs excellently with beef, grilled dishes, game, chicken and turkey, stews, hearty vegetarian dishes, and aged cheeses.
