The world-famous Supertuscan Caiarossa is an Italian wine closest to the Bordeaux style both in terms of DNA (the estate is French) and wine production. Very dark, opaque purple-red color. Caiarossa 2020 has a deep and generous aroma, with a lot of Cabernet character and a hint of Syrah fragrance. Aromatic with dried cherries and plum skins, as well as spicy chocolate, elderflower, walnut shells, and nutmeg. Also a bit of wet stones. The palate is full, structured, and broad with very fine tannins. It is strong but not heavy with freshness and crispness. It shows intensity and richness.
